Keeping Spirits Inclined Year Round!
Recently, we had the chance to sit down with Mike Sassone, Manager of Incline Spirits & Cigars. Incline Spirits is coming up on its second anniversary. Incline Spirits & Cigars is located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, NV. – Conveniently located across from the Lake Tahoe Hyatt Hotel in the Country Club Center. It’s a great place to hang out – sip a glass of your favorite wine or smoke one of our premium cigars.
What your biggest seller?
Our biggest sellers are the specialty micro brews from around the world. We carry over 150 beers from over 10 countries including Holland, Germany, Thailand and Guatemala – you bound to find exactly what you are looking for or perhaps a new favorite.
Tell us about the wine cellar
Our wine philosophy is offer wine that rate 90 points or better while keeping the cost under $35. We also feature local wines such as Tahoe Ridge and C.G. Di Arie (Amador County). The local wineries grow great Zins in the foothills.
What is your favorite wine?
Mettler Petite Syrah – velvety and complex.
The Finest Cigars
Incline Spirits & Cigars is the only cigar store in the North Shore of Tahoe. We carry over a 100 hand rolled premium cigars from Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic, And Cuba (pre-embargo).Dominican Republic and Nicaraguan.
All of Incline Spirits’ premium hand rolled cigars are kept at 70 percent humidity in our digitally monitored humidor.
Brands include Macanudo, Cohiba, Acid and Cao.
What’s your favorite?
CAO Italia – full flavored without being too heavy.
I know you have tastings and other events in the store, which was your favorite?
We had a great Oktoberfest – we shipped in kegs from Germany Including Kulmbacher and Kaputziener. We paired up with local chef Johnny Brimm from Austin’s for bratwurst, and live music by Jeff Jones.
What makes Incline Spirits different?
Our specialty is hunting down hard to find items – if it’s available in Nevada – WE’LL GET IT! Hardest thing we had to find was the Dogfish Head beer from Delaware.
