Local Activities
Incline Village has an abundance of activities to offer, whether you’re a hiker, mountain biker, snowboarder, watersports enthusiast, or you just like to relax in a beautiful mountain setting. The cabin is close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, ski slopes, and casinos.
Incline Village comes by its name honestly. Named for the Great Incline Tramway built by loggers in 1878. This eastern North Shore enclave features some of Tahoe’s most relaxing beaches and a world class golf courses.
In summer, theater goers congregate to see the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at nearby Sand Harbor. Mountain bikers can get their game on with screamers down the Flume trail, which drains into the Village. Winter sees snow sliders trooping to Diamond Peak (in the city limits) and Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. Additionally, the casino gaming here is uptown and lively.
Winter Activities
Located just minutes from Incline Village in Lake Tahoe, Diamond Peak is the ultimate family friendly neighborhood ski resort that’s perfect for all your skiing and snowboarding fun. Summer Activities
Lake Tahoe provides an endless choice of water sports and activities. You can para-sail high above Lake Tahoe or Jet Ski into Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe’s most natural and untouched wonder and one of the most photographed and places in the world.
Golfers will have a great time playing 36 amazing holes at one of two golf courses. Located along Lake Tahoe’s north shore, the Par 72 Championship Course and Par 58 Mountain Course offer a truly memorable Tahoe golf experience. The Lake Tahoe setting and brilliantly designed courses combine with exceptional amenities and services make Incline Village an ideal destination for your next vacation or special event.
Off-Season
Tahoe is quieter in the spring and fall, offers visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy the slower pace and appreciate the beauty of the Sierra mountains. Surrounding the Lake Tahoe Basin are hundreds of miles of trails ranging from easy to strenuous, that branch off into unspoiled wilderness area, monitored by the U.S. Forest Service.
Popular short hikes includes Eagle Falls/Eagle Lake, Emerald Bay/Vikingsholm, Glacier Meadow Loop, Loch Leven Lakes, Lower Lola Montez Lake, Marlette Lake, Rubicon Trail, Shirley Lake, Summit Lake, and Tunnel Creek Station. Heavenly and Squaw Valley USA round out the lineup.
